I have heard AO-7's 10M beacon several times... Because it is running totally off the solar panels, it is only in operation while in sunlight, and resets every time it goes into darkness. It doesn't always come back on when it re-enters sunlight, and when it does come on, may do so in either mode A or mode U/V (formerly mode B). Be patient - you'll hear it one of these times. RS-15's beacon is listed as "intermittent". You would probably be better off listening for activity in the CW portion of the downlink than for the beacon. I haven't even listened for it in ages, because it is tumbling so badly that the long, deep fades make it almost unusable. 73 de KA3HSW delete "nojunk" from e-mail address before replying.
