It all depends on the contract. Only a fool would sign acknowledging CC&Rs
and think "no big deal' because some Realtor is spouting shit about them not
being enforced or dissolved. If that is said, that needs to be signed and
in writing. CC&Rs are not a violation of anyone's rights (those who knew
what they were getting into). It's funny watching people decry that they
are. It's a damn contract between a person and an association. No one is
forced to buy a home with CC&Rs. If that's all that is available in your
area, move to a new city or state. If you want to stay, but a Honda and
move further away. Everything we have in life is a choice. Some people
(hams in this case) make a choice then go whine to their big brother
government to 'make it so I don't have to suffer the consequences of my
choice!!!" If your not willing to leave and more to a new part of the
country then I don't feel for you. You have a choice: Ham radio tower
set-up or no ham radio tower set-up. Make your choice, do what you need to
do to get it done, and live with it.
