I think this is a likely scenario with Blaser casings, as it only has two 
small berdan-style flash holes. It should be possible to make a fixture 
that will prevent this though...

Doubt it. The small flash holes will make it hard to get any solvent into 
the primer and even harder to get the composition out of it.
