See: http://www.powderinc.com/blackpowder.htm#FIREWORKS%20POWDER And: http://members.aol.com/illinewek/faqs/bptypes.htm Note where the chart says "Blasting Grade Black Powder" it is also referring to fireworks grade. The "A" series of powders are generally unglazed and the "G" series powders are glazed. ( Duh. G = glazed powder ) Also note that the screen sizes listed are U.S. Standard and their opening sizes I will let you look up on your own. The second cited page is a pretty good one for the rest of you pyro junkies out there. -- Don Thompson Ex ROMAD "pyroman" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote in message news:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Hi there, > > I would like to use Black powder from commercial source for > shooting small shells to large shells.I requested the supplier to be > supplied at the size of "mustard" I am sure it will be burn must > faster and sometimes it will be fatal to the mortars that will blow > away easily.Does anyone able to exactly specifies the grain size > roughly? Please don`t mention FFG or FFFG since we live in different > countries i don`t know what u are using there.Hence,Please tell the > grain size must be in mustard or double than mustard size?
