Hmmm... I'd have to disagree. I built a star roller much like the vibrating version Skylighter used to sell. I had $29.00 in the DC reel-to-reel tape drive motor, $30.00 in electronics, and about $40.00 in steel and the stainless stock pot. That doesn't quite come up to $250.00 The most expensive material I bought was the castable 90-durometer polyurethane rubber (at $22.00/ half-pint) from which I cast twenty-plus eccentric drive rollers. Each rolling machine takes but one, and I gave the rest away to friends wanting to build their own.
