I'm afraid I can't say.  The incoming logs for the moderation software,
before any filtering is done, show no trace of that message, neither do
the incoming logs out at the mail server itself.  Mail and news are
inherently lossy, non-guaranteed delivery media, and while they ususally
work without a glitch sometimes things just vanish.  It looks like this
may have been such a case.
