lens choice advice please

i have decided to trade in my 28-80 usm mkIII kit lens and my simga 70-210 i
have been offered £75 in trade in (i hope that is each).  I will keep my
70-300 for now.  I'm looking for quality over zoom range so 28-70 would be
acceptible over the canon unless you guys know better.  although looking
fantastic the tamron is out of my price range

what you have said and think that yor results will improve a lot with good
optics on your cameras.
