can't find Kodak Photo CD

I live in the UK and at the moment can't afford to buy a PC and
scanner. My ideal solution would be to have my films made into Kodak
Photo CD's - the quality's superb and according to Kodak's own
website, a 24 exposure film can cost as little as $24 to do.

The trouble is, here in the UK I can only find labs that do Kodak
Picture CD, which is *way* inferior. The only other alternative here
in the UK is to have my slides done one at a time after they've come
back from the processor, and the prices asked are just astronomical.

So, can anyone suggest a place in the US that does Photo CD?
