Having said that, taking pictures wherever possible from the bow
rather than the stern should minimise vibration.

Some of the Rhine ships I've worked on have been pretty much devoid of
noise/vibration at the "sharp end" unless the bow thrusters were used
to manouvre in locks or at landing-stages.
