Hello,
Well, i got back my transparencies, and the Schneider did pretty good
at f22, although the difference was hard to tell from the f32, perhaps a
little bit sharper. The diffraction effects are hard to see, if any.
What i DID notice, even at f22, is something that might be related to
what Richard was talking about in terms of a dot in the corners turning into an
oval. I could see small reflected dots kinda turn into ovals in the corners.
But more significantly, on the right side of the white painting's right edge,
over the black felt background, is a very blue skinny "edge", sort of a rainbow
effect. I've seen this problem posted on the net in the past.
So a perfectionist i am, and i will try the 127mm tominon when i get the
chance.
Slick
