Hi All, This might be totally off topic, but I was wondering if it was a decent idea to have "once a while" debate/talk about current famous large format photographers. May I start with Andreas Gursky. I have seen his exhibit started by MOMA numerous times. Very impressive, technically proficient, huge prints. Some are digitally "mastered". I have read the reviews etc. I was wondering what are some of your thoughts. Half of the time I get a feeling of amazement, I know the tremendous amout of access that he has to these buildings, events, etc. Half of the time, I am thinking its not much different from camera club photographs but with 5x7+ blown up to 60+ inches. There is this unsettling feeling, that its just large and that's why its revered? Kyle.
