I agree. I still like the feel of my EOS IX (not the lite version), though I never use it any more since going digital SLR. An APS film frame is the same size (or a little larger) than the sensors on the most popular digital cameras today, and very few people are complaining about the image quality. Yet, many of these same folks were constanly deriding APS as not being large enough to produce a decent image. They were blinded by prejudice, and by examples from cheap P&S cameras, rather than giving an honest look at what APS could do when placed behind a decent lens.
