First I checked out that two-faced scumbags recommended Nikon site, and I
saw NO explanation of perspective, only examples. Smelling too much glue
again?
Secondly, I did search Google, but whatever you wrote is well hidden. If you
want it to become part of the searchable archives, then you're going to have
to do a much better job.
Thirdly, while I readily admit perspective is not a function of focal
length, there is no doubt that perspective does change with focal length (or
as I like to use, field of view of the camera lens). This is pretty obvious
with two-faced's recommended Nikon Site.
As a Registed Architect, I've constructed perspectives for longer than I
care to remember. Now we use Autodesk Autocad software, and related
software. When constructng an Autocad 3D drawing, the first things you're
prompted to answer is camera position and camera angle of view. And of
course, as anyone knows who has ever constructed perspective, they have
their own distortions and errors, especially with more complex
constructions. So the first question I want to know, is what's your
background?
