Try stroking his back every morning, then every evening put your hand in the
viv and see if he will put his feet on you. If he will, let him walk onto
you. If not just use one finger to stroke him gently under his chin or on
his chest. When he will let you do this without running away then you can
gently pick him up by putting your hand under his chest and letting him step
onto your hand. Don't pick him up without giving his feet anywhere to stand,
Beardies are very nervous if they haven't got anything to put their feet on.
He will get used to being handled as long as you are gentle and always let
his feet stand on something.
