Grainne, please don't cross information and assume its bad advice. Many
savannah owners feed their lizards the turkey diet to PREVENT obesity and
fatty liver disease. Its true what you posted, but the prevailing theory is
that an ALL-RODENT diet leads savannahs to their untimely demise... possibly
combined with long-term dehydration from being kept too dry (inviting Luke
to chime in here anywhere).

Fair and true. But we don't keep our pets in cages that fairly represent the
wild, nor do they get nearly as much excercise. So we must make adjustments
to compensate for the differences between living conditions.
