Many savannah owners feed their lizards the turkey diet to PREVENT obesity and fatty liver disease. Its true what you posted, but the prevailing theory is that an ALL-RODENT diet leads savannahs to their untimely demise... possibly combined with long-term dehydration from being kept too dry (inviting Luke to chime in here anywhere). > In the wild their natural diet are insects and worms Fair and true. But we don't keep our pets in cages that fairly represent the wild, nor do they get nearly as much excercise.
