Naw, they get the (very filtered, but otherwise untreated) spring water, 
which I suppose is pretty good for herps, since it feeds the creek in 
our side yard which supports about a zillion healthy frogs and 
salamanders. All of my foggers are contained inside a fixed tube 
arrangement so the (a)water stays pure and(b)the herps can't get access 
to it. I'm sort of puzzled about the distilled-water-is-bad thing, I 
always equate it with rain water (minus the pollutants/acidity). Do the 
amphibs have an osmosis thing going on through their skin or something, 
where there is a movement from more concentrated solution--->less 
concentrated solution if kept in "pure" water? Or are you referring to a 
problem if they drink it?
