About 3 weeks ago my ferret was sick... He would only lie around and when we let him out he wouldn't move around. This was just after I ran out of his normal Forti-Diet. The pet store folks assured us that this certain cat food would work, but they were ordering the normal food so he would have only eaten this food for a few days. So anyhow, the changing to this other food for a few days seemed to cause him to get sick. We took him in and they found nothing wrong with him, but gave us some anti-biotics, and about 2 days later he was totally normal again. Running around and jumping. He was a little fat before getting sick. Only for the past two weeks he still drinks normally, but he hasn't been eating much of anything at all. He still dumps in the box, and we believe it's the honey-seed bird food bar things. He kind of hoards it. But he hasn't touched the actual ferret food at ALL. I would be more concerned, but like I said, he still totally acts normal. When he's out, he's active and everything, but he has lost weight. Does anyone have an idea why he's not eating as much? I'm in CA, and this is a 100% indoor ferret. I don't think any sunlight comes in where the cage is at. -- -- Anthony G [EMAIL PROTECTED]
