Hi.  i have to agree that Kati is also a really bad food.  Do you have a
PetSmart or PetCo?  Go there and look in the ferret aisle.  Look for a dry
food with high protein content (at least 40%) and a good fat (20%) content.
Also offer meat, you might get lucky.  If you think she/he is sick, try meat
baby food.  If you cannot handle the ferret I would take it to a reputable
vet in your town.  If you let it out, they can get anywhere they want to.
No holes in walls or floors, (dryer and heater vents).  Don't leave it
locked in the cage too often.  Let them play in a room with lots of
sunlight.  Our ferrets peacefully coexisted with our cats and dogs.
Although the cats did stay out of the ferret's way...hehe.  Keep reading
this ferret list, lots of good information for experienced ferret owners.  I
am sure Ferrets for Dummies would be a great book too.  We have quite a few
of those books for different topics...hehe.
