Thank you, KG!! I haven't got to the big crate yet but will today. I think the little one may be in shock or suffered from exposure. So far she has remained in the shirt sleeve, mostly sleeping. She takes water if i hold the bottle right to her mouth. She has eaten nothing as far as I can tell. Its been about 16 hrs since I found her. She is very still and quiet. I have let the dogs have a look at her (not too close!) and she does not seem afraid. I will get down to PetSmart for some cat food. (Disappointed about the ferret food as the shop carries really high quality dog foods. But the owner allowed she knew nothing about ferrets.) Hmmmm, I just smelled something foul! Perhaps we have a BM. I hope I can find a relieved owner today. 5 pets is just too many personalities for me to work with. I handled her enough to check the sex but I noticed a little pustule on the groin area. Could be a nasty ant bite, but is it something pretty obvious? Dumb question! I will let her be in the bathroom after checking for holes behind the plumbing. I really appreciate your support. Lisa >A large crate will do the job.
