Frankie is certainly in my thoughts. I am relieved to hear he is doing
better this am. I sure hope you do see his plalet count go up. I can't
believe this all happened so quickly.

BTW, this tidbit caught my eye on the link above. You may
want to discuss testing Frankie for this, I know for a fact
that erhlichia does cause most if not all the symptoms
Frankie has.

Here:
Ehrlichiosis (especially infection with Ehrlichia platys)

Chad you may want to call the vet and ask them to
run the test for Ehrlichia. It is about $65.00. Has
Frankie possibly been bitten by a tick recently
or even as long ago as last spring or summer????
