Andrei, You really can't decide if two cats will or won't be able to get along so quickly. No matter how lonely a young cat may get and however much they might enjoy an occaisional visitor, no cat will tolerate an invasion of their home and humans without putting up a fight. For a while, your original cat will be totally covinced that this new cat is trying to tak away her home, steal the love of her people and run her off so the new cat can have it all to themselves. Obviously this isn't going to make for happiness. Welcoming a new cat for a visit or play is nothing like sharing a home. There is lots of advice available about introducing two cats, none of which you've done, but since you've got pretty young cats, they should be able to adjust. Firstly, the timeline for figuring out if you have an unsolvable problem is months, not days. 90 days is a fair trial to see some improvement. And expect it to get worse rather then better for a while. Secondly, you have to let them fight it out to a certain extent. Keep them seperated occaisionally, so the new cat will have some peace and quiet to eat and use the box. Always make sure the new cat has a safe place to retreat to (like under the bed). Alot of people only let the cats interact when they're around to supervise for a week or two. Understand that your 1st cat needs to establish that she sets the rules and enforce them, so while it seems like mean bullying, it's unavoidable. Interfere as little as possible. Give lots of attention to the old cat to reassure it of your affection and act pretty indifferent to the new cat. Cats will usually not hurt each other, despite all those claws and teeth, so while it may look dramatic, unless there are physical signs of damage to either cat, it's probably best to let the law of the jungle play itself out. I recently introduced two female adult cats and only now at 90 days will they play with each other :> Be patient and good luck!
