Need squirt gun alternative

Hi folks--
   I'm dealing with my teenager who is very smart, and gets hungry
every morning about two hours before I want to get up. Her latest
trick is messing with the window blinds at 0-dark:30.
   Needless to say, if I'm busy with my eyelid check, it's difficult
to grab the handy bedside squirt gun and nail her. She does understand
the N-word (the one with two letters, exclaimed loudly) but ignores it
when she's doing her blind thing.
   I need something that will be handy to have by the bed, won't spill
on the floor, and is easy to grab while half-asleep. Any ideas?
