Re: Old George and the Mouse

You know what Mary? I rarely swear as I like to try to stay on the high
road, but because I'm dealing with a very sick older cat at home and
we're coming to the end of a long and painful road, and because I am
disgusted by the fact that old George's needs are being ignored by you
(and a few others,) for you I'm going to make an exception. Fuck off.

Marek hasn't taken George to the vet, despite the pleas of many. If he
had we would have suffered through another multi crossposted message
telling us all about it, and it is clear from his snotty reponse to me
that a vet visit hasn't happened. His only real concern is spending the
least amount of money possible with the least amount of effort. A vet
visit doesn't fit in with his agenda, which is to crosspost his George
stories to as many groups as possible and get pats on the back while
completely ignoring the sound and important advice many have given him.

If you actually paid attention you would know that is clear Marek is
going to do what is best for Marek, not for George, and ignores anything
that doesn't fit with what "Marek" wants. It sickens me that you and a
few others have chosen to be completely ignorant of the reality and
instead just congratulate Marek for taking George in without taking into
account that he's not giving George PROPER care. Taking George in IS NOT
ENOUGH. Collectors take cats in all the time and you see what happens to
them.

Did you see George's photo? He is by no means a healthy cat, and the
fact that he is still skinny after all this time should set off alarm
bells, but NOOOOOOO, you are content to ignore the serious need for
George to be seen by a vet and instead focus on attacking me. Apparently
that is more important to you than the welfare of a sickly, arthritic
cat that is in dire need of medical attention but is denied it.

Marek hasn't taken George to the vet and seems content to just let him
waste away from whatever untreated condition he has *and* suffer from
arthritis, which also can be treated and allow George some relief from
the pain.

If you want to attack me for being seriously concerned about the
welfare of a cat go right ahead. It doesn't change the fact that this
cat is being neglected where it counts the most.

material assistance, which no man could have dreamt would have come his
way."
