I did exactly what Kris did a couple of months ago. We had an abandoned feral living under out shed. We fed her but couldn't really approach her. It took a good 2 weeks for her to trust us. After another week or so, she started to approach the house. We let her in to explore. A few days later we couldn't get her to go out. She literally climbed the screen of our patio door trying to get in. She is now a house cat and hasn't been outside since. Hasn't even made a run for the door. She does claw and nip a bit when she is in her playful mood, but has the run of the house. One thing she does that none of my other non-feral pet cats ever did, was show her halloween pose (arched back) when anyone approaches her. She seems to want to play so perhaps this is normal. Scared the heck out of the daycare kids, but seems to be harmless. Is this behaviour normal?
