This last Weds I found my kitty laying on the porch. I gave him my familiar
"meow" he replied with a plaintif MEEOW he was hurt, as I approached i
noticed a long shaft laying near him but I quickly realized that it was
coming out of his side, my kitty was shot, someone for some reason decided
to kill him.
The latest news is that "Bandit" is alive and recoveriing, i am too.
Multiple purrs for both of you. Was it from a bow and arrow? I hope you reported it to the police. A kid or adult dumb enough to do this could easily kill. MLB
Be sure to report it to the police and Animal Services.
Yes, be sure to report it. I can't remember where I read this, but there's supposedly a strong correlation between people who harm or kill animals and serial killers. I'm not talking about hunters, but people who harm dogs, cats and other typical pets. It has something to do with a disregard for life, I think.
Hooray for Bandit! and I hope he has a full recovery, Warren
