my kitty was shot

This last Weds I found my kitty laying on the porch. I gave him my familiar
"meow" he replied with a plaintif MEEOW he was hurt, as I approached i
noticed a long shaft laying near him but I quickly realized that it was
coming out of his side, my kitty was shot, someone  for some reason decided
to kill him.
The latest news is that "Bandit" is alive and recoveriing, i am too.
