Does the article say the man dropped of the cat(s) at the shelter to
be killed or are you extrapolating? I wasn't aware there are shelters
where we can drop off pets to be killed outright. I thought we drop
them off at the shelter at the hopes of the pets getting found by the
owners or getting adopted by someone else.
