I think that poster was me and that probably would have been a great
idea if I wasn't rushed with time constraints. Luckily we could
improvise with the campfire. But, I will be doing that in the future.
I have several recipes I will be testing over the next few weeks.

Went on another campout this weekend with a Boy Scout troop. Took
along my recently acquired cast iron. Since I did not have to actually
cook to sustain life I experimented with my new cookware. Friday night
I cooked up some beef tips and gravy with sauted mushrooms over
noodles with squash on the side. Saturday for lunch I made some
grilled cheese. Both meals were great. My wife especially liked the
beef tips. I appreciate all the info everyone passed on. Steve, I will
take your advice to heart and practice lots before the next campout.
