Not surprising in the least.  Not having the ability to distinguish
between real (truth) and not-real (lies) wouldn't be relevant to
someone who falls in love with internet personalities.

And if it was the latter, which I believe it was, then they created
false evidence and used such evidence to make points.  That is lying.
