Hi, > This whole complaint about people as sex "objects" ignores > the fact that most adult people are sexual. Sexuality just goes > with being a biological being as opposed to an android. Well, who else created sex and sexuality? This is the beef that I have with some of the Christian nudists, who actually see sex as being 'wrong'. If they believe sex to be wrong, then they should read Genesis and listen to what their God commanded in Genesis 1: 27-28. It doesn't even have to take a non-Christian or an non-nudist atheist to point it out to them (speaking of which the Positive Atheism site just *loves* to make fun of Christian nudists!) > What the heck is wrong with thinking of women or men sexually as > well as personally? Too many "nudists" I think would rather > that sex were not a part of life, and they would prefer life > before there was sex, as when they were "innocent" 3-year > olds. It's sexual lust that is a sin. Jesus recommended mutilation as opposed to looking lustfully at strange women. I am a nudist who believes that sex and sexuality *is* a natural and normal part of life. It is a gift from God. The problem is that this gift has been abused and distorted throughout the ages. I have difficulty understanding your last comment: do you imply it before there was sexual knowledge? > To them, nudity is just a way of proving no sexuality. > To me, a real nudist is one who can flirt and still hold an > intellectual conversation with another nudist and not feel > uncomfortable. It's more of being naked but not being sexually obvious about it. Nudists don't want a world free from sex, they just want a world where one can be openly naked and keep sexual behaviour for appropriate times and places, just the same as 'textile' human beings believe.
