The couple that I talked with accent, etc., sounded like they were
from small countries like maybe Czech Republic or Slovokia, etc.
Didn't really get into that with them. But what I said above as a way
to become Canadian is actually their way to become American...
Marry one of us... They talked like they thought we have the
typical 'streets of gold', etc. At least no pot holes.. Everything
rich and 'shinier'. I couldn't make one of them believe that
Buffalo, right across the river, was in the same or worse shape, in
all respects, as Ft Erie, where the girl was, seemingly waiting and
looking for a husband... She asked me about marrying an American and
how easy it might be.
I'm sure any marriage will only be for a week or two, once she's over
here, but I'm filing for divorce right now... <g>
