While I don't have time to respond to Rick right now (gotta get sleep), I can tell *you* that there are some/many clubs (coop clubs) that do not have a "profit motive". Sure, they don't want to go into the hole, and they would like to maintain their facilities, but "profit" (meaning return on investment) isn't what they are after. They simply want to maintain a place to practice their expressive association (nudism or family nudism) without getting arrested, and without having to endure the kinds of creeps that public venues attract. Again, if the Boy Scouts (a MAJOR national organization that licenses clothing, supplies, etc., and that has a zillion camp facilities) can be considered an expressive association, with the right to discriminate based on religion and sexual orientation, what's the chance a private membership-only family nudist club/camp with delineated (but discriminatory) membership standards wouldn't have similar rights? But I'm still waiting for a club to say either: 1. We are a "public accommodation" for the purposes of nondiscrimation laws. or 2. We are a "private membership-only club" for the purposes of the nondiscrimination laws. They can't be both (not at the same time, anyway). Too many "clubs" want to have their cake and eat it too.
