Well, he said that allowing the public in creates a lot of prospective 
members/visitors.
If more of those prospective members/visitors are single males vs. single females,
then it's PROBABLE that the club will gain more male applicants/visitors than females.

And if many nudists DON'T mind a significant imbalance, then why do so many
clubs have male vs. female quotas? (or claim they do)
