Question about FM Synthesis Instrument Parameter

Dear all,

Recently, we are focusing on writing software program to convert 
the MIDI sound to wave format and playing it directly to speaker 
(without using the Wavetable/FM of sound card). FM synthesis was 
considered to be used. 

In each of the 128 instrument in MIDI format, there is set of 
parameters (include the modulation index, carrier frequency and 
modulation frequency). Is there good source or method that provide 
the parameters for those instrument? (e.g., reference book, website or
other sources)
