I have lways felt Exile was overrated and basically one riff repeated 40
times.  Boring.
LIB is indeed more of a collection (quite a lot like Buttons or Flowers)
rather than a thematic set, yet it works.
Knocking go on too long?  Heresy!  :)  In fact it is the Santana like
coda that makes the song soar *way* above the usual fare.
Beggars Banquet.  A few classical songs, again very much the same sound
problem (very acoustic), boring. IMHO anyway.
Buttons has some great songs but as you noted in relation to something
else, there is no continuity there, just the latest collection of odds
and ends.  Pretty good odds and ends tho. :)
