After allegedly making some waves over back royalties he said were due
to him pop singer Jimmie Rodgers of "Honeycomb" and "Kisses Sweeter
Than Wine" fame was discovered this day in his car,near death on the
San Diego Freeway in California.

He had been the victim of a "mysterious assault" by assailants
unknown.
