My personal favourite "spoof" involves the cover of _The Velvet Underground & Nico_. In the mid-1990s, a fairly obscure gen-x band (I think) put out an album which duplicated the original VU/N cover, the sole difference being that the "new" band and album names were added under the original "Velvet Underground and Nico" title (in a different colour, but in the same writing style). The back cover had the 10 VU/N tracks listed on one side, and the band's new tracks listed on the other. I'm pretty sure that this was completely illegal, and I only saw the album once. I wish I could remember the name of the group ... Christopher
