With mass production and reproduction comes massive wealth and the ability to have Shania singing in your front room. My question is for both listener/consumer and moneymaker/artist. What is the relationship between the two groups? As long as it can be produced it can be sold and stolen. Why not cut back the profits and mega stardom crap and just tour? Maybe my question is, how much money does your typical artist want? Isn't there any joy in playing anymore?
