Yes, that is a great observation! I used to do the sound for a few Christian
bands and they always played halls with dire acoustics!

On the whole I found Christian bands a pleasure to work for, very polite and
helpful. There was one exception... I supplied a rig for a "March for Jesus"
rally on the back of a truck. Unfortunately the organisers were too tight to
get a safe truck, a reliable generator and a careful driver. After spending
the first 90 minutes getting their generator working for them, they
performed a successful set. But on the way home the driver was going too
fast and despite a few warnings, he took a bend too sharp and our £3000 deck
unit, flew off the back and smashed to pieces on the pavement. Despite
offering to split the cost of damages 50/50 with them, we never received a
penny in compensation :o( ...Cost me nearly £600 in repairs.
