Depending on how much stuff you are going to do in the studio, one cheap options is always to get an older Fatar controller and like a Kurzweil K1000 module, a JV1080, or some other reasonably priced yet power packed unit. The K1000 Piano I've used a lot and it's kind of a classic from the old very expensive K250. Also a new GEM unit can be a pretty good deal. Some of them come with some nice sounds. The Korg...oh whatever it is with the stand for your living room...ecs350? I dunno. Anyway a newer unit that can be gotten for a round a grand has a great feeling movement and one of the killer electric piano's of all time. The grand isn't bad either. -Bob "mr. beans" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote in message news:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Well; I think this is what I am most interested. > > Good sounding acoustic piano (Grand) with sustain > ability, etc. (Other effects would be nice) > > Good velocity; > > Weighted keys, > > and possibly some good strings? > > And I have a tight budget of 600$. > > Any suggestions? > > Things I've seen: > Yamaha S03 > Emu PK6 > Korg MINIkoder > > > Any help would be very good, thanks. > > Dave
