I use Fibracell. I find it closer to cane than other synthetic reeds. However, a good cane reed does sound better. In my case, I often have to pick up the bari and play in a few seconds, so it's worth it to have the synthetic. Fibracell's a good quality reed. Don't attempt to modify a synthetic reed, though.
