I had a teacher at the time, and would watch me so that we could tell the doctor that I definitely had correct form. Overplaying was the problem. Waldstein sonata was a very difficult piece for me, and I was practicing about 4 hours per day. I wasn't a performance major, either...just going for my BA. But I wanted to ace my juries.
