The KA single coil has a 7 k and 10 k coil tap which makes the tone ,
thinner (7k) and or warmer (10k).
On another gtr I have, a whole bunch of capacitors were found to be wired
together which lead to the Dearmond operating at half power. Since then,
only the tone caps have been retained. The vol/tone are now back to normal.
