Bill,
I am using an Alexender right now. Yup, at times the stuffy aspect gets
to me a little, but not when I am above the staff or trying to hit a "pp"
entrance. I have used a Kruspe, nice but heavy. I have played a Geyer,
but only one and it was a total rebuild so I don't know if they were all
like it was... very nice light horn. I have played only one Farkas I liked
it was the brass medium bore horn... for some reason this one had a thin
thin bell. I can't see trading my Alex for anything right now. I have
never tried a Yama.
