Couesnon Alto Horn

Sorry for the Cross post but this kind of falls between both Horn &
Trumpet.

I have the opportunity to buy a Couesnon Alto Horn from Ebay. The
Seller will sell it to me for $231..

Right now I'm playing an Old USA Grand Rapids Alto that I think was
made in the early 1900's.. It is in High Pitch so I am having to pull
out the slides out a lot & the Valve action isn't great..

I'm primarily a Cornetist & Trumpeter.. I know that Couesnon makes
very nice flugelhorns but sometimes they have intonation problems.. I
will be using the Alto in some British style Brass Bands & in an
American style Cornet Band.
Has anyone ever played a Couesnon Alto Horn? Any Information you can
give me on Couesnon Alto Horn such as bore size, playing
characteristics would be much appreciated.
