Satori Strings Contest

Satori Musical Instruments is sponsoring a contest for student string
players (violin
viola, cello and bass).  The Grand Prizes include awards of
$1000 plus.  This is a good opportunity for young classical musicians
in the Los Angeles area to get some competition experience and maybe
earn a little money for college or for a new instrument.

There are over one hundred contest catagories, from baroque and
American music specialties to standard collegiate and beginner levels
open and qualified contests.  Categories also include an essay contest
and small string ensembles.
