Which model for the DEEP sound ?

Hi,

I am looking to replace my second hand Melody bass with a new one. I am looking for 
the deep low sound you hear in most R&B and hip hop songs. 
I am willing to replace PUs after I buy the bass, but am in doubt if I should choose a 
P-bass or J-bass model, u cannot replace the body of course. 
Options are eg deluxe p-bass special, aerodyne bass or Warwick Rockbass.
Which model will give me the deep bass sound most easily ?
