Re: Bad Ass Bridge for Jazz Bass

i have had a badass II on my P special...jazz neck rw board..
and now have the original vintage bridge back on
the badass made the open A more focussed and punchy but other wise no
real difference to my ears..
i play only fingerstyle and not too punchy either...
a comment made on another forum is that if you want an ashtray on you
wont get the badass to go under it
i feel there are better options to the badass at the same money and
better engineered...schaller was one i had and found it immensely
adjustable and good to look at...
others cite other makers
but for me the bottom line was the bent piece of metal..BPOM..was
fender tradition and my P sounded just right..
with every little inconsistency right in place..:)
thats what we pay for ?
