Re: How long should strings last?

Don't laugh but I have a set of Maximas on my' 78 Music man that are at least
ten years old. I gig with this bass three to five times a month. I don't know
if the strings are still made but they still sound fine. However I do notice
strings on my other basses(I use mostly half rounds) last about three to six
months befor they just poop out. Hope this helps.
