help needed for my teenage son

Hi,

last time I got help from this group to buy a bass guitar for my son. I
bought Fender 5 string jazz bass and he loves it.

Now he wants a bigger amp. I know this day will come, but it came sooner
than I expected. He has a 15w practice amp and he told me he can't use it in
the band.

I don't know much about guitar nor amp.. If anyone can help me to choose
what to look for, brand, wattage etc., any recommendation would be greatly
appreciated.
